What can I expect during a plastic surgery consultation?

• A plastic surgery consultation typically lasts an hour. You will first speak with Dr. Wojtanowski. He will spend the time necessary to address all of your questions and concerns about potential plastic surgery. He will help you determine a customized plan to achieve your desired results. Next, you will meet with our medical photographer. She will document your pre-existing anatomy for your medical record. Photographers are the standard of care in plastic surgery. All photographs are part of your medical record and are strictly confidential. Finally, our patient coordinator will answer any remaining questions, review the plastic surgery procedures discussed, surgery dates that will accommodate your schedule and fees involved with plastic surgery.

How do I reserve a surgery date?

• A deposit of 20% of your plastic surgery proposal will reserve your date.

Where is surgery performed?

• Brand New Surgiplex, built by Dr. Michael Wojtanowski in 2012. An accredited facility located in the offices of Ohio Clinic for Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery.

What measures are taken to assure my privacy?

• Our staff strictly adheres to the federal HIPAA guidelines for the privacy and protection of all of your personal and medical information. If you have any specific wishes regarding your privacy, we will do everything we can to accommodate your concerns.

How long will I have to take off work after surgery?

• Plastic surgery recovery and the amount of time you will need to take off depends on a number of factors, including the complexity of the procedure, your profession and individual healing time.

What does it mean to be Board Certified?

• In plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery, being certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery is considered the gold standard in the plastic surgery field. It means Dr. Wojtanowski adheres to the highest possible level of patient safety and patient care. His entire education, credentialing and continuing education is focused solely in plastic surgery.

Is financing available?

• Yes, plastic surgery financing is available. Ohio Clinic is excited to offer patients no interest financing through Care Credit, upon approval. Several options are available with Care Credit. You can log on to Care Credit to confirm you eligibility at http://www.carecredit.com/  Many patients opt to pay for their surgery using MASTERCARD, VISA, DISCOVER OR AMERICAN EXPRESS.
